We collect information you provide directly, information generated through your use of the Services, and limited technical information collected automatically.
- Account and contact information: We may collect your name, email address, password or authentication credentials, invite code, marketing preferences, and information submitted through waitlist, early access, contact, support, or account forms.
- Collection and collectible information: We collect information you add to your account, including collectibles, collections, categories, titles, descriptions, notes, tags, condition details, provenance, purchase price, purchase date, valuation adjustments, collection organization, and related metadata.
- Photos, audio, and other user content: The mobile app may access your camera, photo library, microphone, or device storage when you choose to capture, upload, save, or attach photos, audio recordings, or other media to your collectibles, collections, or memories. Some media may be stored using URLs that allow the app to display the content back to you.
- User Content ownership:You retain ownership of content you upload, submit, store, or otherwise provide through the Services, including collectible images, audio, notes, descriptions, collection details, memories, and related metadata (“User Content”).
- AI analysis and valuation data: When you use identification, cataloging, or valuation features, we may process uploaded images and item details to generate identification results, market valuations, confidence scores, model outputs, and related evaluation data.
- Usage, analytics, and diagnostics: We may collect information about how you interact with the Services, including pages viewed, app screens visited, actions taken, feature usage, search terms within the app, device type, operating system, app version, IP address, crash logs, performance data, and diagnostic events.
- Cookies and similar technologies: Our website may use cookies, analytics tools, and similar technologies to operate the site, understand usage, improve performance, and measure marketing effectiveness.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services.
- Create and manage accounts.
- Identify, catalog, organize, and value collectibles.
- Store and display user-created collections, photos, audio, memories, and notes.
- Generate AI-assisted analysis, descriptions, valuations, and related outputs.
- Develop, test, train, tune, evaluate, and improve Galleried models, algorithms, product features, and user experiences using User Content, including images and related metadata.
- Personalize the app experience and remember preferences.
- Respond to customer inquiries and support requests.
- Send transactional, administrative, marketing, waitlist, or early access communications.
- Monitor performance, debug issues, detect abuse, protect security, and prevent fraud.
- Analyze usage trends and improve product features.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
How We Disclose Information
We may disclose information to the following categories of recipients:
- Service providers: We may share information with vendors that help us provide hosting, database, storage, authentication, analytics, diagnostics, crash reporting, email delivery, customer communications, AI processing, and infrastructure services. These providers process information, including User Content where needed, on our behalf to provide the Services.
- AI and model providers:When you use AI-powered features, we may send User Content, including images, item details, prompts, related metadata, and other context, to AI service providers to generate identification, analysis, valuation, or related outputs on Galleried's behalf. Where commercially reasonable, we use AI providers under business or API terms that do not permit those providers to train their own models on User Content unless we enable that use, you consent, or that use is otherwise disclosed.
- Legal and safety purposes: We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, security, users, or the Services.
- Business transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not sell your personal information or User Content for money. We do not use your collectible photos, audio recordings, or private collection content for unrelated third-party advertising.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, improve security, and support legitimate business purposes.
You may request deletion of your personal information by contacting us at privacy@galleried.co. We will process deletion requests subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, backup, and operational retention requirements. Deleting information may limit or disable parts of the Services, including access to saved collectibles, collections, media, memories, valuations, and account history.
Some deleted information may remain temporarily in backups, logs, archives, or systems where deletion is not technically immediate, but we will restrict use of that information according to applicable law.
Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request that we:
- Confirm whether we process your personal information.
- Provide access to personal information we maintain about you.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Delete personal information.
- Provide a portable copy of certain information.
- Opt out of certain processing where applicable, including targeted advertising, sale, or profiling decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Children's Privacy
